Robert Bowling Confirms Something in Multiplayer

Terrorist Anders Behring Breivik says he used MW2 as “training”

And Sledgehammer Games Turns Two!

Sledgehammer Games Now Two!

Sledgehammer Games, the studio co-developing MW3 with Infinity Ward turned two yesterday, with the official SHG Twitter account tweeting:

And if you find that Sledgehammer turning two and not one is weird, please don’t. A Call of Duty game actually has less than two years of production since there are two major developers even though there’s one every year.

Terrorist Uses MW2 As… Training?!

If you haven’t seen the news lately, you probably haven’t heard about the man who did it… I mean the tragic terrorist attacks on Norway.

More than 85 people have died in this tragic attack, and a suspect has been found – who admits he did it, but says there’s a reason.

According to this “1,500 page manifesto” he wrote, he says that he used Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as training for combat skills for “an upcoming war with Islam”:

I just bought Modern Warfare 2, the game. It is probably the best military simulator out there and it’s one of the hottest games this year. … I see MW2 more as a part of my training-simulation than anything else. I’ve still learned to love it though and especially the multiplayer part is amazing. You can more or less completely simulate actual operations.

He also talks about other games, though, MW2 is the only game he used as “training”.

Elite Beta Walkthrough

Here’s something interesting. There’s a live beta walkthrough of the current Call of Duty: Elite service, and you can jump over here to see it. Unfortunately, it can’t be embedded.

This is BIG.

In MSXbox World’s Exclusive interview with Robert Bowling, he revealed something about Multiplayer. And it’s BIG.

If you have remembered the great Combat Training from Black Ops, they asked if it is there and if it can be played offline.

But instead he said (confirmed) that all the multiplayer modes can be enjoyed split-screen offline and also for gamers not connected to the internet can enjoy all Spec Ops mode.

As for the Combat Training, he still says that Spec Ops is good for training on MP, since you can play on multiplayer maps in Spec Ops.

And of course, he isn’t saying anything else. Still? Still classified?

Read about it on MSXbox World.

And, you can see the interview in video form here.
