24 Hours of Call of Duty

The Call of Duty Experience (CoD XP): more info now available!

Also, patch update 1.11 for the Xbox 360 and PC released and MW3 current pre-order stats. What’s the sitrep, over?

Patch 1.11: Xbox 360

It may be so odd, but the new patch, Title Update 11 for Xbox 360 only features 2 updates. Yes, two! This IS odd.

Hey 360 gamers,

We are listening to you and we’ve been busy working on updates based on feedback from the community. We have already deployed a number of updates, and there will be many more to come. Stay tuned right here for all the latest info.

LIVE FIXES 7/12/11 (Title Update 11)

  • Security Updates.
  • Search and Destroy audio tweaks for planting and defusing.

There may be a reason why there are only two updates, if there aren’t any security updates, it would be a hotfix. But since security is very important, it couldn’t be just put in a hotfix. Probably.

See all the updates on the forum thread here.

1.11: PC

While the Xbox patch only had two updates, this title update features more.

MW3 v. BF3: Pre-Orders

As the competition heated up since http://www.ModernWarfare3.com served as a domain to BF3’s website and people thought it was owned by EA (actually owned by a BF3 fanboy), this competition is serious: pre-orders.

According to VGChartz, the tales of the war in Afghanistan ****** **** the juggernauts of New York and Europe in this week’s pre-orders charts. I promise to keep you up-to-date every week. If the info is there.

So what did BF3 do to MW3?

Click for the stats at VGChartz.

If you can’t see, green represents MW3 and red represents BF3.

MW3 v BF3: Xbox 360 MW3 actually got more than twice the number of pre-orders than BF3 in the Xbox 360 pre-orders, with BF3 at 240,000 (approx.) and MW3 at 500,000 (approx.). Sounds good.

MW3 v BF3: PS3 MW3, this time, got less than double of pre-orders than BF3, but it is still a good result. MW3: 220,000 (approx.), BF3: 130,000 (approx.).

And actually the most pre-ordered game right now is Gears of War 3.
